Challenge:
Determine how to increase beverage purchases during shows.
My Actions:
• I worked with our F&B vendor to determine their level of interest in a video series titled ‘Mix It Up’ where they would lend us a camera-friendly bartender to help create the drink recipes and video.
• I conducted meetings with our Development team to determine if we could align the series with a sponsor. We were able to do and Skyy Vodka became the sponsor for the Mix It Up series.
Results:
• The results were significant. For the opening night of Legally Blonde we realized a 30% increase in drink sales. We were also unprepared for the wait queue and made adjustments to reduce the wait times of the future shows.
